To set the date of your wedding


You need to know that your wedding is your own choice, but take care about external parameters.
To choice the better date of your wedding, you must to make a list of available dates with those conditions.

Period and forbidden dates
    The forbidden periods of the year for the weddings:

  • Omer period (Sefirat Haomer). For the sefarads, from Passover to Lag BaOmer, that’s mean 33 days after Passover.
    For the ashkenazes, from Passover to Shavuot.
    The days of Rosh hodesh of this period are authorized.

  • The 3 weeks (Ben Hametsrim), that mean between 17 Tamuz and 9 Av. Be careful, those 3 weeks reduced in fact the possible dates for the July and August months, that pushed at the end of the summer more demandes for weddings.

  • On the Tishri month, Rosh Hashana, Yom Kipour, the days of Soukkot.

  • The Shabbat days (Saturday) and motse shabbat (Saturday evening)

  • The celebration days or comemorates national days : Yom Hazikaron, Yom Haatsmaout.

  • 10 Tevet

  • Ester Fast
